The new version of the Love Parade will take place in Berlin in 2022

Rave The Planet is the name of the event that will replace the Love Parade in Berlin on July 9, 2022.

For its implementation, 400 thousand euros were collected.

This massive rave was scheduled for 2021, but was postponed due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. And the organizers say that they have agreed and registered a new date with the relevant authorities in Berlin.

Supporters of the new parade include Oliver Huntemann, Felix Kroecher, Christian Smith, Bebetta, Gabriel Ananda and Matthew Johnson, and one of its organizers is legendary German techno producer and Love Parade co-founder Dr. Motte.

“We are one family” is the slogan of the parade, which aims to “protect, promote and develop the culture of electronic dance music in all its forms. And its further development ”.

Another goal of Rave The Planet is to include the culture of electronic dance music in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The organizers want to organize an “official celebration of electronic dance music culture” as an annual event in the spirit of the Love Parade.

The attendance record for the Love Parade in Berlin is 1.6 million, which is regarded as a techno-based cultural revolution.

The parade was first held in 1989, just months before the fall of the Berlin Wall, creating the city's reputation as a center for European dance music.

The Love Parade ended in tragedy when 21 people died in a stampede during the 2010 festival. The trial to hold the organizers accountable for the deaths began in 2017 but recently ended without a verdict. As an anthem Da Hool recorded the track "Meet Her At The Love Parade", which is one of the best trance tracks of the mid-90s.
